Brittany Tate, CMHC Intern

Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern, Liberty University

Hi! I’m Brittany—a wife, mom of five, and pet owner to a black lab named Vader. For 14 years, my husband and I have called Georgia home, though we’re both originally from South Carolina. My passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journeys stems from my background in Christian counseling and my commitment to helping clients create meaningful and fulfilling lives that align with their personal goals and values.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from Liberty University and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with plans to graduate in December 2025. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience as a Certified AACC Mental Health Coach, working in crisis counseling and women’s ministry.

My approach to counseling is holistic, recognizing that a single issue can affect every area of our lives. I strive to provide a space where clients genuinely feel heard and understood, as I believe this is key to fostering confidence, growth, and wholeness. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life, and I am equipped to integrate a faith-based approach for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into their counseling journey.

I’m passionate about equipping individuals with practical tools to face life’s challenges and am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward enhanced well-being, resilience, and personal growth.
