Brittany Wise, MFT Intern
Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, Mercer University
Welcome to Lyons Center! You are showing up for yourself today and it will pay off!
Hi there! I’m Brittany, a marriage and family therapist intern at Lyons Center. I am a wife
and dog-mom to Millie, an energetic springer spaniel. I love spending my free time
outside and my current hobbies are running and learning to paint with watercolor.
Following a strengths-based approach to therapy, I collaborate with my clients to build
off their strengths. In the therapy room, I rely on attachment theory and other systemic
theories to understand my client’s situation. Everyone deserves the space and
opportunity to heal. I am dedicated to providing my clients the environment and
resources to heal, grow and better their relationships to build a satisfying life that aligns
with their values.
I have experience working with individuals overcoming life stresses and adjustments,
depression, anxiety, and I particularly enjoy working with mother-daughter, husband-
wife, and other relationships together in therapy.
In July 2025, I will graduate with my Masters of Family Therapy degree from Mercer
University School of Medicine. I plan to continue gaining experience and working to
become a fully licensed marriage and family therapist. I currently see clients under the
supervision of an AAMFT accredited supervisor and seek guidance when necessary,
from licensed therapists and counselors.
