Our Team

  • Bettina Lyons, LMFT

Hi! I’m Bettina! I’m a mom to five children in our blended family. My husband grew up right here in Warner Robins, and I grew up in northern Minnesota. Right now, we have five teens (and a fur baby named Max!) I specialize in working with anxiety, teens, and couples. I also enjoy providing clinical supervision to pre-licensed and provisionally licensed therapists.

I graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2005 with a Master of Family Therapy. Before that, I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of North Dakota in 2001. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years. After graduating, I worked in a residential treatment facility for teen boys involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice. I have also worked with an Intensive Family Intervention team with families who were in danger of disruption. I have also worked with low-income families in a community outpatient setting in downtown Springfield, MA. I have worked in a community outpatient setting in Macon Georgia with foster children as a therapist and as the clinical director of the counseling program as well. After working in all of those settings, I decided it was time to open up my private practice. About a year later, I decided to grow into a group practice here in Perry, Georgia.

  • Kristen Partin, MA LAMFT

Hi! I’m Kristen! I am a mom to a sweet little girl and a rambunctious chocolate lab. I am originally from Tampa, Fl and also lived in Southern California for about a year. I specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults through individual, couples, or family therapy.

I graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2022 with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to attending their graduate program, I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Middle Georgia State University in 2019. I have worked in multiple different settings during my short time as a therapist. While working towards my Master’s, I worked in a pediatrician’s office as well as our school’s clinic as a way to provide counseling services for low-income families in the Macon and surrounding areas. Working with these families and their children was such a rewarding experience because it allowed families the ability to receive counseling services who may not otherwise have the opportunity. Seeing the connection between families grow as well as individuals reach their goals, is truly unmatched. Towards the end of my graduate program, I picked up an additional site, which would be the Lyons Center, to counsel additional clients. Once I finished my program, I decided to stay in the private practice world and have remained at the Lyons Center ever since!

  • Erika Taylor, LMFT

Hello! My name is Erika Taylor, LMFT. Before graduating from Mercer School of Medicine obtaining a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mercer University (Go Bears!) and Associate’s in Business Managment from CGTC. I immediately acquired an associate license the following year of graduating and became professionally licensed shortly after.

I have had the pleasure to work in multiple professional settings in which I encountered diverse clientele. Settings included HOCO Health Department for practicum, while also a victim advocate for clients who experienced IPV (intimate partner violence) and SA (sexual assault) with Crisis Line and Safe House. I carried this experience to provide therapy to children and families in multiple Middle Ga counties of low-middle income, before coming to Lyons Center, LLC. I am socially-culturally attuned with a passion to bring awareness and enlighten clients of their resilience utilizing techniques such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and/or psychoeducation. I specialize in working with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults including individuals, families, and couples with neurodivergent and other DSM-V diagnoses, outpatient/inpatient substance abuse, LGBTQ+, and/or trauma.

A little personal! I was born and raised in Ga. I have not lived anywhere else. I am married to my best friend. We have two boys that keep us active and proud. I love reading fiction and enjoy nature trails. I value community involvement and learning new things. I like to refer to myself as an agent of change.

  • Richard Spivey, LMFT

Hello, I’m Richard Spivey and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from Mercer University in Macon Georgia with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I became a therapist later in life. Earlier in my career I practiced law, spent several years working with college students as a university administrator, and I spent a short time as an academic advisor to international students attending college at Mercer University.

I have a lot of experience helping people from all walks of life work through difficult issues and I have enjoyed that aspect of my career the most. I find a lot of meaning in helping others and I believe it is what attracted me to becoming a therapist. It is rewarding to help others that have decided to change their lives for the better.

I believe that to be a good therapist I must rely on the client to help design effective treatment options. It is important to me to get my clients perspective about whether or not my approach is working. I see providing therapy as a combined effort between the therapist and the client. I have focused in the past on treating patients that are living with depression and anxiety as well as obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also have experience treating married and committed couples that are navigating difficult circumstances.

    Mariah Driggers, LMFT

Hi, I’m Mariah! I’m a proud graduate of Mercer School of Medicine with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Born and raised in Vidalia, Georgia, I’ve always had a strong connection to family and community. My high school sweetheart and I are happily married, and we’re parents to a wonderful son and six very energetic dogs!

When I’m not working with clients, I love to spend my free time reading, enjoying peaceful days at the lake, and cherishing every moment with my family. My mission is simple: to empower others, promote healing, and help clients become the true masters of their own lives. I believe everyone has the strength to overcome challenges, and I’m here to guide and support them every step of the way.

  • Megan Hinman, LAPC

Hi! I’m Megan! I’m a wife, mother, and holistic clinical mental health counselor. My husband and I grew up in Boise, Idaho. We spent over a decade moving with the United States Air Force, while my husband was on active-duty orders. We have lived all over the United States, in Kyoto, Japan, and now call Georgia home. As a family we chose to homeschool, and I’m wholeheartedly dedicated to the ongoing pursuit of knowledge and growth.

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in May 2024. Previously, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Washington University with a minor in Family & Consumer Science. I have experience as a clinical case manager and therapist for the Houston County Health Accountability Court: leading four psychoeducation and therapy groups, providing individual counseling, and clinical case management for a high risk, high needs population.

I have experience treating clients with a variety of challenges including emotional dysregulation, addiction, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, anxiety, self-esteem issues, complex trauma, and family, parenting, and relationship problems. I am also competent in career counseling and Christian integration for those to whom faith is a priority.

I’m passionate about empowering people from all backgrounds and walks of life to recognize their inherent worth, find the strength to overcome, heal past hurts, and thrive. My goal is to help equip people to navigate the negatives and better recognize and enjoy the positive parts of life.

  • Brittany Wise, MFT S/T

    Brittany Wise, MFT S/T

Hi there! I am Brittany Wise, a marriage and family therapist here at Lyons Center. I’m currently accepting new clients seeking individual, couples, or family therapy through self-pay.

Following evidence-based approaches to therapy, I rely on John Gottman’s approach and Sue Johnson’s emotionally focused therapy (EFT) when working with couples. When I see families I like to follow an attachment-based approach. For individual therapy, and depending on each client’s presenting issues, I follow cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to support and when needed challenge my clients.

My therapeutic stance is that my clients are the experts of their lives and I join them in the process of making shifts to better live according to their values. I let my clients decide the focus of our work with that, I am biased in that I favor relational therapy and promote family sessions or couple work when appropriate.

I graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in July 2025 with my Master’s of Family Therapy. During my coursework and practicum experience, I obtained the requirements for the Georgia Associate Marriage and Family Therapy License and will receive the license after I sit for the National License Exam in early 2026. As an early career therapist, I am dedicated to providing ethical, and research-based therapeutic services. I am working under an AAMFT accredited supervisor and seek guidance from other licensed professionals when necessary.

*Brittany expects to begin accepting insurance-based clients early 2026.

I also hold a Master’s in Sociology, a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice. My diverse background gives me a unique perspective when it comes to understanding people and their stories.

While I’m still shaping my personal counseling style, I naturally lean toward a holistic, strength-based approach. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I believe that while life’s challenges touch every part of who we are, with the right tools and mindset, we can navigate anything—and even find joy along the way.

  • Melodie Espinosa, Administrative Assistant

Originally from Texas, Melodie brings over 10 years of administrative experience and a background in Mass Communications to the Lyons Center. As the youngest of seven children, she’s no stranger to a busy environment — something that serves her well in both life and work. Between her large family, three kids, and two dogs, Melodie thrives in a little bit of chaos and finds joy in connecting with people from all walks of life. She’s known for her attention to detail, love of organization, and genuine desire to help others, which shines through in her role every day.

Melodie and her family moved to Warner Robins, Georgia, in 2024 when her husband, Bryan, began coaching football and wrestling at his alma mater. Much of their family life now revolves around those sports, with their oldest beginning to explore athletics himself and their two younger kids cheering him on. Looking ahead, Melodie hopes to continue her passion for helping others by one day becoming a therapist.
