Hi there! I’m Eliza, a passionate and dedicated Marriage and Family Therapy student intern, eager to support individuals, couples, and families on their journey towards healthier relationships and enhanced well-being.

I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercer University, where I have gained a comprehensive understanding of relational dynamics and the intricate dynamics within families. Under the guidance of experienced supervisors and faculty, I have completed extensive coursework, covering various therapeutic modalities, diversity and inclusion, and ethical guidelines.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in systemic and strengths-based theories, which means I focus on understanding the interconnectedness of individuals within their relationships and broader contexts. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their concerns, develop self-awareness, and strengthen their relational skills. I enjoy working with couples and families facing communication issues, conflict resolution difficulties, and life transitions. I also want to support people navigating personal growth, self-esteem concerns, and stress management. I like to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client I work with.

Please note that as a student intern, I am under the supervision of a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Your trust and well-being are of utmost importance to me, and I look forward to joining you on your path to positive change and improved relational well-being!
